About Me
Since my early age, baking has been a passion for me. As a child, I was already helping my mum with the baking and cooking at home. I knew I was destined to become a pastry chef & baker.
At the age of 16, I started my apprenticeship as baker, pâtissier and chocolatier in Grenoble (France) where I am originated from. Three years later, I decided to pack up and travel to the French Riviera where I worked in several prestigious hotels. Full of experience, I decided to apply at The Fouquet's on the Champs-Elysee's in Paris as pastry chef, where I stayed a couple of years, followed by some experiences in Switzerland.
In 2005, it was time to improve my English and to see what the UK had to offer.
There, I found in Dartmouth (South Devon) a Pastry Chef position working in close relationship with John Burton-Race, Michelin Star Chef at The New Angel.
In 2007, me and my wife decided to open our first business, Saveurs... a French Bakery - Patisserie - Chocolaterie (closed in July 2023).
During 2023/2024 ,I've been busy consulting several places in the South of France. From opening a brand new restaurant (Hotel plage Saint Jean ,La Ciotat), to training on modern platted dessert and helping with management (Hotel Les Peupliers, Barratier) as well as training about birthday cake (La Terrasse Fleurie,Divonne les Bains), just to name a few, it was wonderful to work with great establishments and passionate teams.
